TOP 3 INNOVATIONS AT ISCWEST 2024

Reed Security recently attended ISCWEST 2024 to source the latest crime fighting tech and bring it back for our clients.

Here are the top 3 innovations we found:

1. Drone in-a-box

Sunflower Labs showcased it's BeeHive security drone-in-a-box solution for large commercial, industrial and agricultural properties.

It integrates with existing security cameras and sensors and extends the capabilities of any security system to deter unwanted visitors

When an unwanted visitor is detected the drone can takeoff in under 5 seconds and respond to any part of a 4 acre property in under 30 seconds. No manual drone operation required.

Coming Soon: Integration with Alarm.com Remote Video Monitoring console

2. Smart locks with no batteries

iLOQ has innovated the world's first battery free lock - your cell phone is a key and a power source. It generates the energy needed for unlocking from an NFC-enabled cellphone running iLOQ's app.

Access rights to all types of locks (for example door locks, camlocks and padlocks) can be remotely shared and multiple properties can be conveniently consolidated into one user-friendly and secure cloud-based software platform, saving resources and simplifying access management administration.

The access rights can be updated in real time and canceled if necessary maximizing security by ensuring that only the right people have access to the right places at the right time.

The
iLOQ solution is ideal for multi family residential, commercial and educational properties.

3. Humanoid robots

We (unofficially) checked out the physical security protective measures including access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance and intercom systems at The Sphere.

In the atrium guests visited with five Aura humanoid robots that have lifelike interactions and expressions. Aura can identify people in a crowd and begin conversations without prompting.

While Aura robots were not on display at ISCWEST, robots with A.I. will eventually become part of a physical security solution as a guard replacement.
